Meet Liane!

Hello there, I'm Liane Thornhill, M.S., CCC-SLP (she/her) I am an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with specific training in early intervention, Orton Gillingham (OG) based reading interventions, school-age language and literacy development, and parent/caregiver coaching. I am also the founder of PlayWise Speech! I have over 10 years of experience working with children who have difficulties with: - organizing and formulating ideas - understanding spoken language - reading acquisition & reading comprehension - spelling & written expression - social communication & pragmatic language Presently, I offer home-based speech, language, and literacy services to families who live around the Silver Spring - Hyattsville, Maryland area. I also offer virtual services to families who live in Massachusetts, Maryland, and Illinois.
